The City's three splash pads will open to the public beginning Memorial Day weekend!
Iowa City splash pads are open daily, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., beginning Memorial Day weekend on Saturday, May 23, 2026, through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7, 2026. There is no fee to use the splash pads. Closures will occur throughout the season for weather and maintenance. For more information on pool or splash pad closures, visit Iowa City Parks and Recreation Rainout Line.
