Iowa City Senior Center (ICSC) for Swing Into Spring, an evening of live music and social dancing from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in the ICSC's Assembly Room.

Community members are encouraged to arrive early from 5:30 to 6 p.m. for beginner-friendly swing dance lessons and demonstrations led by members of the Iowa City Swing Dance group. Registration and membership are not required.

The evening will feature live music by the Silver Swing Band, a 16-piece Big Band ensemble directed by Steve Grismore, performing classic swing and Big Band jazz repertoire.

No partner or prior experience is required. Attendees may choose to wear spring colors or vintage-inspired attire.
