Update: The outbound 10-West Iowa City route has returned to normal service, as of 3:20 p.m.

Due to a traffic incident on Riverside Drive, outbound 10-West Iowa City will have to detour and not service Newton Road or Elliott Drive as of 1:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, 2026. 

Those seeking outbound service should use stops on Hawkins Drive near the main UIHC campus, or ride the inbound 10-West Iowa City and stay on the bus until it turns into outbound.

Regular service is expected to resume once Riverside Drive returns to normal traffic. Use the Transit App to keep track of changes; routes will be updated.
