Applications are now open for community members interested in serving on the Housing and Community Development Commission. One vacancy to fill an unexpired term is currently available with a term beginning upon appointment through June 30, 2027.
Examples of work completed by the Housing and Community Development Commission include:
- Reviewing grant applications for projects and programs designed to serve Iowa City residents that meet income eligibility guidelines and making funding recommendations to City Council.
- Promoting City programs related to housing and community development.
- Providing input on City plans and policies as requested.
