Participants must sign up for a 30-minute "shopping" time slot. Distribution hours and a sign-up link will be shared closer to the event.
Volunteer to help
Volunteers are needed Oct. 12–18, 2025, to help with the Winter Clothing Drive at The River Community Church. Tasks include setting up, sorting donations, assisting families, restocking, and cleanup. People with language skills in Spanish, French, or Arabic especially welcome. People can register for shifts by using the online sign up form.
Getting there
Iowa City is fare free! Those interested in attending the winter clothing drive are encouraged to take a free bus to the distribution even on Muscatine Avenue. Participants can take the 9-Towncrest bus to the intersection of Muscatine Avenue and Dover Street (stop 7268) or use the Transit app to plan your trip.
