Several roads will be closed, and bus routes will be detoured, to make way for the Northside Oktoberfest, on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025. 

Road closures will start at 5 a.m. and run until late night Sept. 20. Roads and alleys closed include:

• North Linn Street from the alley between Market and Jefferson streets to the alley north of Hamburg Inn No. 2.
• East Market Street from North Dubuque Street to North Gilbert Street.

Transit impacts

The 7-North Dodge and 11-Rochester routes will detour all day on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, due to the Market Street closure.

The inbound 7-North Dodge will detour Market Street to Gilbert Street to Burlington Street to Madison Street to Washington Street.

7-North Dodge stops that will not be serviced are listed below:

• Stop 7206 – Market Street @ Linn Street
• Stop 8218 – Market Street @ Clinton Street (Old Brick)
• Stop 7332 – Madison Street @ Jefferson Street

The inbound 11- Rochester will detour Market Street to Gilbert Street to Burlington Street to Clinton Street to Washington Street.

11- Rochester stops that will not be serviced are listed below:

• Stop 7206 – Market Street @ Linn Street
• Stop 7207 – Clinton Street @ Jefferson Street
