Iowa City 2030 is a public planning process to update the City’s Comprehensive Plan—an opportunity to create a vision for how Iowa City will grow and develop over the next 10-20 years.

Good Ideas?

Tell us what you think: What do YOU like about Iowa City? What could make it better? Suggest a project, program, policy that you think would make Iowa City a better community. It takes just 5 minutes. You will also have a chance to read and vote for ideas submitted by others.

How to participate…

Attend an IC2030 community workshop. This is your opportunity to learn more about the policies and programs that have shaped Iowa City and to discuss ideas for making it a better place. Participants will work together in small groups to craft a vision for Iowa City . Maps and other background information will be provided to help you think more deeply about how the City should grow and develop over the next 10-20 years.
