Amenities Include:
- Nearly 3 miles of trails are constructed on the Waterworks Prairie Park site, looping around the ponds and through the prairie. The trails are part of the Iowa River Corridor Trail network, which extends from Napoleon Park in South Iowa City to the Coralville Reservoir property north of Iowa City, a distance of approximately 9 miles. Public parking is provided at the northeast corner of Waterworks Prairie Park. The trails connect to the Peninsula trail system via a recently constructed trail under the Interstate-80 bridge over the Iowa River.
